About the role

As a Crew Member in the Pavements section, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team responsible for operating small trucks and performing essential civil works. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including road maintenance, erosion control, and traffic management. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and satisfaction of our community.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills while delivering high quality results. You will work collaboratively, following direction from your Team Leader while also taking initiative to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Class C Driver’s Licence
• RMS Traffic Controller Certificate (Blue Card)
• Current Construction General Induction card – WorkSafe or equivalent

Other important information

• The commencing salary for this position is up to $57K. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $66K on completion of assessment of skills and performance 11.5% superannuation and allowances
• We have a permanent full-time role available 
• This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
• This role is located at the Charmhaven Depot
