Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.

CURATOR - PIONEER PARK MUSEUM (Permanent)

The Curator is to manage, develop and organise the collections and to promote the Pioneer Park Museum to the community, both for individuals and organisations in consultation with management. Act as a guide for visiting tourist and educational groups also develop and maintain liaison with collectors, specialists, conservators, dealers, affiliated societies and academic, professional, industrial and other organisations.

Qualifications: The successful applicant will require an Australian Class C driver license.  Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application.

Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require previous experience in one of heritage, museum and the arts industries. A knowledge of conservation techniques and the ability to implement exhibitions or events would be desirable.

Hours of work: 38 hours per week 

Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $ 67,703.89 to $74,469.12 (Grade 9). Plus superannuation
