Join our Information Management Team as a Customer Data Integrity Officer permanently at Banyule City Council.

The aim of the Information Management unit is to be responsive to the needs of the organisation in the planning, development, processing, promotion and application of record keeping responsibilities for the Council, and to preserve Council Records for the benefit of the community.

About the Role:

  • Oversee and enhance the accuracy of customer name and address data within the Altitude Name and Address Register (NAR) and the Customer Experience Platform (CXP) NAR to enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop and educate staff in data governance policies and standardised formats to ensure data consistency and coherence.
  • Facilitate collaboration between teams to ensure a unified approach to customer data management that fosters a holistic understanding of customer interactions.

Skills, experience and certificates:

  • Degree or Diploma in administration or relevant field, or lesser formal qualifications and several years of subsequent relevant experience.
  • Experience working with customer databases. Authority/Altitude NAR and/or Microsoft Dynamics Power Platform, including Dataverse, are advantageous.
  • Ability to develop data standards and validation processes, guides and training material.
  • Experience working with Content Manager record-keeping system an advantage.
  • Effective data entry skills to enable the accurate entry and retrieval of information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey a clear message.
  • Ability to train and educate staff to ensure compliance with standardised data rules.
