A creative and passionate Landscape Architect, you are looking for your next career move.  We can offer you the opportunity to actively define and guide public open space and landscape designs within the City – for both capital projects and upgrade works.  Part of a dedicated Civil design team, you will apply your design experience in every aspect of the upgrade of roads and public open spaces, from concept through to construction.  Degree-qualified and experienced, you have actively led and participated in community and consultation liaison to produce plans that balance safety, costs and end user expectations.  A current ‘C’ class driver’s licence is essential for this role.

You must address the following selection criteria when submitting your online application: 

1. Comprehensive knowledge of project planning, design, construction techniques, materials and equipment associated with public open space related development works and capital works
2. Sound knowledge of plant species relative to Western Australian landscapes
3. Sound ability to research, solve design problems and create good designs gained through experience
4. Extensive experience in the usage of computer applications including Civil 3D, CAD packages, MS Word, MS Excel and adobe packages

We are offering a gross salary of $88,929 to $95,469, depending on skills and experience and:

• 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
