POSITION OBJECTIVE

To provide efficient and confidential executive and administrative support to the Infrastructure Services Department ensuring high quality, accurate delivery of services and support.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated minimum two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in Local Government (operations and meeting procedures)
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high level computer skills including Microsoft Suite of Programs and Councils other software applications.
  • Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • High level of confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion in a professional manner essential.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills with a high level of customer service aptitude.
  • Advanced competency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • High level of written communication and report writing ability.
  • A team approach with the ability to multi-task.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management, problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Previous experience in the role of Executive Assistant.
  • Knowledge of Council’s corporate applications.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a Local Government;
  • Current “C” class manual Driver’s Licence or ability to acquire a licence prior to officially commencing in the role.
