The Role

Council is seeking to appoint an experienced trade qualified mechanic. This is your opportunity to be a part of a progressive organisation, and work locally in the community you live in.

As a Mechanic with Council, you will undertake repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of Council vehicles, plant and machinery in a professional manner both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team. The work will be broad, interesting and at times challenging.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Recognised trade qualifications as a Motor Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic; and
• Possess and maintain a current “HR” Class motor vehicle driver’s licence.
