Governance Manager

Join our fabulous team at Rural City of Wangaratta as a Governance Manager! We’re seeking a trusted advisor to provide strategic and operational advice to our organisation and councillors, lead a team of subject matter experts and champion good best in governance. 

In this role, you’ll oversee a range of key functions such as governance, project management, procurement, general insurance, and property contracts. We’re consolidating these specialist areas into a unified governnace team, that will play a crucial role in supporting the council’s effective, ethical and efficient operation. You’ll focus on developing and empowering this new team, fostering a collaborative culture that enhances service delivery and promotes transparency, accountability and integrity in all we do for our community.
