This role has three primary responsibilities:

You have extensive experience, at a senior level, in managing a waste facility and collections. You have successfully led diverse teams in the past, and apply your excellent communication skills to bring “the big picture” to life, and articulate the common goals of the teams operating on site. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of all aspects of waste disposal, and of the associated legislation/compliance and operational practices associated with the delivery of the essential services of a landfill facility. You must be qualified in either Engineering or Waste Management to be considered for this role.

We are offering a total remuneration package of up to $225,000 per annum (including allowances and superannuation), and will be dependent on skills and experience. In addition to the remuneration package the City is offering:
