Role Overview

To provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the Compliance Section within the Community Sustainability Directorate to assist in the implementation and achievement of the relevant Branch Business Plan.

To provide high quality frontline customer service as an integral part of the delivery of services provided by the Compliance Section within the Community Sustainability Directorate.

Essential Knowledge & Skills: 

  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and project support.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and organise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to support the delivery of the Branch’s priorities.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including an understanding of the role of confidentiality within an administrative environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Queensland ‘C’ Class driver’s licence that is current and maintained.

Essential Requirements:

  •        Deliver timely and accurate administration functions to meet the business needs of the Compliance Section within the Community Sustainability Directorate.
  • Contribute to the daily operations of the Compliance Section responding courteously and efficiently to enquiries received by internal or external stakeholders in person, by telephone, fax or email.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the Compliance Section application, registration and approval records and registers.
  • Prepare, append, reconcile and record financial information via council’s online requisitioning system.
  • Ensure accurate management and input of records and data across all sections of the Compliance Section.
  • Manage multiple workflows and inboxes in a timely and accurate manner.
