Location: Various Cemeteries - (Forest View, Gordonvale & Martyn Street Cemeteries)

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Cemetery Attendant!

What You Will Do:
As a Cemetery Attendant you will work closely with the Cemetery Sextons to deliver respectful and dignified burial services, maintain our cemeteries to the highest standards, and provide excellent customer service to families and community members during difficult times.

What We Are Looking For:

• Current motor vehicle (Class “C”) Licence along with a current Queensland Light Rigid (LR) Class driver’s licence (or ability to obtain) with the ability to drive Council fleet vehicles independently between business locations to meet operational needs.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in operating ride-on mowers, push mowers, brush cutters and any other associated equipment and machinery necessary including the ongoing maintenance of such equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform a range of grounds maintenance and labouring tasks and/or grave preparation.
• Practical experience in use of herbicides and pesticides.
• Demonstrated ability to relate to the public in a fair, courteous, sensitive and professional manner.
