Plumbing Compliance Officer

As a Plumbing Compliance Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of plumbing systems across a range of exciting projects.

The Plumbing Compliance Officer will carry out all functions of the Plumbing Permit Authority as required, ensuring that all necessary permits are issued in compliance with local and national plumbing codes and regulations. The role will provide comprehensive inspection services for plumbing and building works, ensuring that all installations meet regulatory standards and safety requirements. This includes conducting site visits, reviewing completed work, and documenting findings. The role will also, from time to time, be involved with the facilitation of Council’s minor projects, through provision of technical advice and hands on work.

You will need:

• Current Manual Driver’s License
• Trade qualifications to be recognised as a licensed plumber (Plumber Practitioner (Certifier) license)
• White Card
• Demonstrated experience at a technical/inspectorial level
• Ability to prepare basic reports and other documentation in a clear, concise manner using appropriate software.

• Starting rate of $76,339.05 as per enterprise agreement
