YOUR ROLE

To manage the activities associated with property and water rating, property splits, income reporting, pensioner rebates, property addressing, and forecasting rating income.

YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)

•    A 35-hour working week, over a 9-day fortnight.
•    Access to 6.5 weeks long service leave after 5 years.
•    4 weeks paid annual leave.
•    Access to 3 weeks sick leave per year, cumulative where unused.
•    Access to 2 health and wellbeing days (taken from sick leave entitlements).
•    Annual salary between $84,459.44 - $91,216.32 per annum plus 11.5% Superannuation.
•    Guaranteed salary increase of 3% on 1 July 2025.

YOUR HOME

Yass Valley Council (YVC) is a local government organisation employing over 170 staff. YVC is managed by the Chief Executive Officer and three Directors. This management team ensues the continued delivery of excellent services and optimum infrastructure to residents and visitors. The three directorates of YVC are Corporate & Community, Planning & Environment, and Infrastructure & Assets.

The Corporate & Community directorate comprises of Finance, Human Resources, ICT, Governance & Risk, Customer Service, Community & Economic Development, Library Services, and Media. The role of Revenue Coordinator is located within the finance team.
