About The Opportunity

As a Technical Officer - Corridor Management your focus is to investigate, report on, and co-ordinate the implementation of roads and drainage matters, whilst delivering a strong customer service focus. 

About You

You are a proactive and experienced professional with a solid understanding of roads and drainage maintenance and construction practices. You bring a keen eye for investigation and reporting on Corridor Management matters, alongside strong organisational skills to manage resources effectively. 

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in roads and drainage maintenance, including relevant construction work practices
  • Proven experience in investigative and reporting work related to Corridor Management.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislative matters and the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Experience in planning, organising, and controlling resources, including managing documentation for quotations and purchasing materials/services
  • High-level computer skills with industry-standard software
  • A current C Class drivers licence

You are also a strong communicator, capable of providing well-written reports and sound recommendations. Your interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively in a team and develop productive relationships with stakeholders. You have a solid understanding of relevant legislation, asset management principles, and safety policies. 

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Previous experience working in Local Government
