Narromine Shire Council covers an area of 5264 km2 and has a population of approximately 6444 in the rural townships of Narromine, Trangie & Tomingley and the surrounding rural areas. Narromine is located 40km from the regional city of Dubbo.

About the position
Narromine Shire Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced applicant for the position of Waste & Facilities Officer.
The primary objective of this position requires the incumbent to manage waste operations at the three waste depots across the Shire. The position must maintain the Depots and waste disposal areas in accordance with the operating procedures and, where necessary, give directions to and assist the public to ensure that waste is placed in the correct waste disposal storage areas.
The position is responsible for keeping the waste depot in clean, tidy condition in accordance with the operating procedures.
