The City of Canterbury Bankstown is one of the largest Council’s in NSW with the most culturally, socially and economically diverse communities in Sydney. We deliver 21 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 370,000 residents.

The Role

We have exciting opportunities within our Leisure and Aquatics Unit. If you are passionate about learning new skills and willing to join our team for unpaid work experience, we want to hear from you!

You will be involved in

• Providing customer service to all centre patrons
• Food preparation
• Selling memberships
• Overseeing the operations of a leisure and aquatic facility from the reception desk.

• Canterbury-Bankstown Council is committed to our Work Experience Program; however, we cannot accept every applicant. Most areas will only be able to accommodate one student at a time.
• Priority will also be granted to those that have provided the relevant information requested by Council in their application.
