The Opportunity

You will be required to provide necessary engineering input on development matters to the development community, council staff and the general public in order to achieve the aims of the unit and meet agreed performance targets. Act in accordance with the NSW Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Work Health Safety Regulation 2017and Work Health and Safety (WHS) System.

Essential Criteria

  1. Completion of a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent discipline;
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills;
  3. Ability to work effectively in a team in a formal structured environment;
  4. High-level experience in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  5. Highly developed planning and time management skills;
  6. Analytical and problem-solving skills evidenced by the ability to critically analyse issues and develop and implement appropriate solutions;
  7. Understanding of WHS legislation and responsibilities; and
  8. Current Class C Drivers Licence or Probationary Licence.
  9. Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical prior to commencement
