We are looking for an organised and proactive Team Leader to join our Water and Wastewater maintenance crew.
This role is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to lead a great crew of people, someone who can plan and organise work for yourself and a team, delivering on proactive maintenance and repair of water supply and sewer infrastructure priorities across the Armidale region. The team leader will coordinate works, acquiring materials, parts and plant as required and communicate with customers and other crews as necessary to complete assigned works. They will also take a hand on approach to works, including operation of plant and manual labour, alongside the team. When you work at Council you get the benefit of a 9 day fortnight. Our Water/Wastewater teams also need to be flexible to work overtime when needed and this role will be responsible for taking after-hours calls, assessing the importance of reported problems and leading after-hours works.
