Title: Operational Yards & Stores Officer, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week
Salary Range: $67153.79 to $78043.57 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

The Transport & Civil Infrastructure Business Unit provides a range of maintenance and delivery relating to road assets, traffic management and street lighting; and infrastructure related to parking system assets. It provides timely and accurate advice and users better practice methods and procedures while developing new and innovative solutions to problems in a cost effective and environmentally sustainable manner. The Transport & Civil Infrastructure Business Unit delivers the following services:
• Maintenance & Construction of Civil Infrastructure
• Traffic and Transport Planning
• Asset Management & Planning
• Community Transport, Parking, Fleet and Stores
• Business Operations

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Assist in the management of the depots, including safety, security and storage in line with Legislation and council requirements
2) Manage depot upkeep including cleansing / corrective actions of audits / inspections.
3) Ensure the effective and efficient operation of Council’s stores
About you:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Operational Yards & Stores Officer to join our Construction and Maintenance team. You’ll bring extensive truck/plant operating experience, good organisation and communication skills to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
