Rating Services Officer x2
The City of Joondalup is seeking reliable, hardworking Rating Services Officer’s with great customer service and communication skills. The ideal candidates will be great team players with strong multitasking skills.
Reporting to our Coordinator Rating Services, these positions are involved in the provision of effective rating services whilst providing quality customer service in accordance with legislative requirements. You will undertake a variety of tasks with the aim of ensuring the efficient and effective collection of rates. Tasks will include daily maintenance of the rating system and dealing with telephone and written enquiries.
The preferred applicants will require good problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills, experience in dealing with and interpreting legislation, sound numeracy and communication skills and experience in providing customer service in a high-pressure environment.
Please note that the successful applicant for the part time role will also be required to work up to 12 weeks full time during our peak workload period between July and November each year.
Applicants with previous rates experience will be highly regarded.
