Visitor Information Officer (x 2) (45 hours per fortnight)

To foster and promote the development of the Blue Mountains by providing information services to visitors, prospective visitors, members, business and the local community.

Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centres are looking for a creative and customer focused individual with experience in retail, local area knowledge, and experience working in a busy and fast paced environment. Must have high level customer service experience, cash handling, be team focused and have an interest in tourism, cultural diversity, and inclusion. This role is front facing and is suited to someone who enjoys working with people in a busy environment, has a creative flair for merchandising, and shares the values of caring for country.

This position is part time and includes weekend work, as follows:

Position 1
Monday    8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Echo Point)
Friday        8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Echo Point)
Saturday    8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Echo Point)

Position 2
Friday        8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Echo Point)
Saturday    7:45am to 3:45pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Glenbrook)
Sunday    8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Echo Point)

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $40,895 gross per annum
  + 11.5% superannuation 
  + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary (if eligible) 
  + annual award increase
