To foster and promote the development of the Blue Mountains by providing information services to visitors, prospective visitors, members, business and the local community.

Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centres are looking for an experienced retail manager and customer service professional to work in the Visitor Information Centres.

Must have experience in leadership, rostering, administration, computer systems, cash handling, stock control, merchandising, point of sale systems, and customer enquiries.

Local knowledge of the Blue Mountains, tourism providers and bushwalks, plus a strong problem-solving ability is required.

This role is front facing and suited to someone who enjoys high level customer service in a diverse and busy environment.

This position is part time and includes weekend work, as follows:

Monday    8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Echo Point)
Saturday    8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Echo Point)
Sunday    8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours / 30 minute break; at Echo Point)

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $47,700 gross per annum
  + 11.5% superannuation 
  + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary (if eligible) 
  + annual award increase
